ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Citrusfest was founded by Sydney Peters, a rising strategic entertainment professional with a deep passion for supporting emerging artists. She earned a BFA in Emerging Media Arts in the Johnny Carson Center at the University of Nebraska and was actively involved in the GRAMMY U program.
While still in college, Sydney launched Citrusfest as a virtual music festival to spotlight unsigned talent during the pandemic, bringing together performers, fans, and top industry executives for a one-of-a-kind experience. Sydney has worked on major events such as Lil Baby's “It's Only Us” tour, "Something in the Water Festival", and various projects with Live Nation, building a well-rounded background in artist relations and live production.
Now based in Dallas, she brings her background in artist relations, live production, and talent development to continue growing Citrusfest into a powerful platform for rising voices in music.
